Hi all,

The past few weeks i have been searching for a driver that will enable hyperthreading on my PC.

I'm on a dell dimension 4600 with an Intel Pentium 4 Northwood (2,4) GHz CPU and the motherboard has an Intel i865PE chipset.

When I bought this machine, it was running Windows XP and Hyperthreading was working like a charm. Last month I decided to upgrade to Windows 7. Ever since ive been unable to get Hyperhreading working again.

Unfortunatly Dell doesn't support Windows 7 on this type of PC, so they offer no matching drivers. I also checked the Intel website for drivers, but no luck there.

Ive already tried to install some older drivers that are officially meant for use with Windows XP, but also no luck there.

I fear that it's simply to big a wish to get Hyperthreading working under Windows 7. Still, i hope someone around here will be able to help me out.
